Where We Work

Environmental Remediation

Waste Lock® is widely used across Superfund sites, FUSRAP locations, brownfield cleanups, and routine environmental remediation projects nationwide.
Key Products: Waste Lock® 770, Waste Lock® PAM, Absorbent Fabric Rolls

Hydrovac & Vacuum Excavation

Waste Lock® allows hydrovac contractors to pass the EPA 9095 Paint Filter Test on-site, converting liquid slurry to a solid in under five minutes.
Key Products: Waste Lock® 770, Waste Lock® PAM

Tunneling & HDD

Waste Lock® sludge solidifiers rapidly absorb the aqueous fraction of drilling mud, passing the EPA 9095 Paint Filter Test quickly and cost-effectively.
Key Products: Waste Lock® PAM, Waste Lock® 770

Oil & Gas Drilling

M² Polymer offers cost-effective, non-biodegradable superabsorbent polymer alternatives to sawdust and corn cob for all types of drill cuttings.
Key Products: Waste Lock® 770, PAM, OrganoLock® N-65, TOTALSORB®

Mining

Waste Lock® absorbs at application rates of just ½ to 2% by weight, expanding treated waste by less than 1% while processing each batch in approximately 5 minutes.
Key Products: Waste Lock® 770, PAM, Absorbent Fabric Rolls

Wastewater Treatment & Municipal Sludge

Waste Lock® products solidify sludge quickly and cost-effectively, with minimal volume expansion, enabling compliance without expensive dewatering equipment.
Key Products: Waste Lock® 770, PAM, Absorbent Fabric Rolls

Nuclear & Low-Level Radioactive Waste

Waste Lock® 770 is engineered specifically for LLRW solidification — tested for radiation resistance through cobalt-60 exposure testing and meets 10 CFR 61.56 requirements.
Key Products: Waste Lock® 770, PAM, Absorbent Fabric Rolls

Healthcare & Medical Waste

MediSAP™ superabsorbent polymers are manufactured via a unique emulsion polymerization process enabling rapid absorption of blood and high-viscosity proteinaceous fluids.
Key Products: Medical SAP™ (MediSAP™)

Agriculture & Water Conservation

AgSAP® stores water in the root zone and releases it gradually to plant root hairs as needed, surviving numerous wet/dry cycles for multi-season performance.
Key Products: Waste Lock® 770, PAM, Absorbent Fabric Rolls

Common Questions

What industries does M² Polymer Technologies serve?
M² Polymer Technologies serves a wide range of industries that need to manage liquid waste, including environmental remediation, oil and gas drilling, hydrovac excavation, mining, wastewater treatment, tunneling and HDD, nuclear and low-level radioactive waste handling, healthcare and medical waste, and agriculture. Our products are also used in latex paint hardening and specialty oil spill response applications.
Conventional sorbents like sawdust, corn cob, and bentonite clay increase waste volume by 50 to 100 percent — creating more loads to haul, higher landfill fees, and more labor. Waste Lock® superabsorbent polymers increase waste volume by less than 1%, which dramatically reduces disposal costs. They also work far faster (typically under 5 minutes vs. up to an hour for conventional sorbents), are non-biodegradable so they won’t release bound contaminants, and meet EPA Paint Filter Test requirements.
Yes. Waste Lock® products are classified as non-biodegradable under 40 CFR 264.314(e)(ii). Solidified waste treated with Waste Lock® passes the EPA Paint Filter Test (Method 9095), which is required for landfill disposal. Waste Lock® 770 specifically meets the requirements for low-level radioactive waste under 10 CFR 61.56. All Safety Data Sheets (SDS) are available ungated in our Resources section.
